A Timetable of What’s On:
Mondays 1pm-3pm Connection at MILK
Come and chat and bring an object that is important to you; share it’s story with others. This is a lovely chance to meet new people, drink tea and eat cake as we talk about our memories and meaningful objects, exploring our connections with each other, people and place.
A women centered confidential space. Facilitated by Dr Zem Moffat.
Drop in, come when you can.
6:30pm – 8:30pm LGBT Language Cafe (every 3rd Monday of the month)
Whether you’re looking to improve your English or your first language is English and you’re hoping to learn a new language, join the group for a relaxed language exchange. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other people and learn a new language in the process.
Tuesdays 5pm-6pm ESOL Cafe
Conversational English classes led by volunteer native speakers to practice your vocabulary. If you extra help with your college homework please bring it along. Mostly pre-intermediate/intermediate levels but any learners welcome.
Tuesdays 6:30pm-8pm Women’s Art Group
We have different tutors leading the workshops every month. Suitable for abilities these sessions are about exploring your creative side in a safe and welcoming space.
Free. All materials provided, kids with adults welcome.
Wednesday 5.45pm -6.45pm Yakety Yak Language Cafe
French and Spanish conversational practice session with native speakers. This group is suitable for people are around the intermediate level in their chosen language. It’s pay what you feel and a donation for teas and coffees. Call or text 07745846326 with any questions or for more details.
Last Friday 8pm – 11pm MILK’s Open
This is MILK’s monthly music night (the last Friday of the month) with a lot of local talent popping in to play us a song or two. It’s free but BYOB with a small corkage charge. We would love to hear more from the lasses so if that’s you please come down and say hiiiiiyaa.
